Product description: Metal radiation shielding fiber is made of stainless steel by cluster drawing process, and the diameter is as small as 1μm~40μm. It has the metallic luster of stainless steel with a bright surface. Since the diameter of the metal fiber reaches the micron level, new characteristics are generated in addition to maintaining the original stainless steel properties, which not only maintains the properties of electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, etc., but also has the flexibility and high specific surface area similar to chemical fibers. It is the base material for the production of various metal fiber products. Our yarns blended with cotton and polyester fibers have permanent conductive effect, and can be used to weave touch screen gloves, anti-static conveyor belts, anti-static work clothes, etc. It can be widely used in various fields such as textile, filtration, metallurgy and papermaking covering industry, civil use and military.
Production specifications:
1. Contains 3%-5% metal fiber anti-static
2. Contains 5%-10% metal fiber for radiation protection
3. Contains 10%-30% metal fiber for general shielding
4. Contains 30%-50% metal fiber for high voltage live work clothes
5. Contains 50%-100% metal fiber high shielding
The metal staple fibers have been combed into strips, which can be directly blended with cotton, acrylic, viscose, polyester and other raw materials, and can produce various specifications of metal conductive yarns. The length of drawing and cutting can be determined according to customer requirements.
The application of metal fibers is roughly divided into the following aspects:
1. Textile products
There are two kinds of pure metal fabrics and blended fabrics. Mainly used for anti-static, conductive cloth and shielding, invisible, vacuuming, etc.
2. Metal fiber porous material
It is divided into metal composite fibers and metal fiber porous composite materials. It is mainly used for materials such as filtration, disinfection and sterilization, sound absorption, lubrication and sealing, shock absorption, heat transfer and energy saving.
3. Metal fiber reinforced composites
There are mainly metal fiber reinforced refractory materials, reinforced ceramics, reinforced concrete, reinforced plastics, reinforced rubber and fiber reinforced metal matrix composite materials.
4. Other uses
Cast iron fiber reinforced grinding wheel, reinforced cemented carbide, and also used in the fields of anti-counterfeiting materials and electrode materials.
